Where is WebWorld hosting based?
In our own two Dublin data centres: DC1 at South City Business Centre, Tallaght, and DC2 at Whitestown Industrial Estate. Both are ISO 27001 certified. Your site and email stay in Ireland. We run our own AS30900 network and peer at INEX.
Is Irish hosting better for GDPR?
If your customers are in Ireland or the EU, yes. The simplest path is a host that stores the site in Ireland under Irish/EU law. We don’t send shared-hosting data to the US or to a reseller’s foreign DC. You remain the data controller for what you put on the site; we secure the platform.
Can you move my website from another host for free?
Yes. Buy Luna, Oberon, Janus or Cordelia, then send us the current login. The Dublin team copies the files, database and email, you preview the copy, and we only change DNS when you say so. Most WordPress moves finish within a working day. Move my site.
Which plan should I buy?
Do you offer WordPress hosting in Ireland?
Yes. Every plan includes Softaculous in Plesk. Install WordPress (or Joomla, PrestaShop, and 400+ other apps) in a few clicks. Free Let’s Encrypt SSL and current PHP versions are set up for you. If the site already exists, we move it for free.
Which control panel do I get?
You get Plesk on Windows Server. ASP.NET, MSSQL, IIS, plus everything you’d expect from Plesk.
Do prices include VAT?
No. Figures on this page exclude VAT. Irish customers pay VAT at checkout. EU businesses can enter a valid VAT number.
Do you back my site up?
Manual backups in Plesk are included, using Plesk’s built-in backup manager. Automatic daily backups are an add-on at €2.50/mo per site, on at checkout or later. We do not claim daily backups in the base price.
Can I register a .ie domain with hosting?
Yes. We are an accredited .ie registrar. Register or transfer the domain when you buy the plan and we point DNS and email for you. Search for a domain.
Why not use a cheap UK or EU host?
Those plans often sit in the UK or Netherlands, jump in price at renewal, and put support in another timezone. You pay a bit more here for Irish IPs, Dublin latency, a phone in Dublin (01 495 1112), and data that does not leave the country.

Your hosting is activated instantly – your login details arrive by email in minutes. Monthly plans end at the next month. Annual plans end at the year. Export a full backup from Plesk at any time. We do not offer a 30-day money-back on shared hosting.
